   How was your day? I hope you are always in good health. Here I want to explain the material about "Recount Text".


#Definition of Recount Text :

-Recount text is text witch retell event or experiences in the past.
-Purpose of the Recount text is to inform or to intertain the audience about experiences in the past. 

#Recount text characteristics: 

• Using Past Tense sentences (past), for example: went, departed, would, woke up, and soon.

• Use adverbs and adverbial phrases to express time, place and way, for example: last September, Pari Island, on then second day, and soon.

• Use conjunction and time connectives to sort events or events, for example: and, before, then, after that, and soon. 

#Generic Structure of Recount Text:

Orientation : it gives the readers the background information needed to understand the text, such as who was involved, where it happened, and when it happened.e

Events : a series of events, ordered in a chronological sequence.-

Reorientation : a personal comment about the event or what happened in the end.

#Example of a recount text from the story of my experience meeting idols:

Orientation :

   2 years ago when I was traveling with my friend to a place, we were surprised that this place was not as usual as there were many visitors arriving.

Event :

   Then my friend and I walked around the placee as usual, I saw someone who was blocked by many people around him. Finally my friend and I walked through the crowd, not long after a man came out of the crowd. After I saw him, it turned out that this man was one of the people my friends and I idolized. My friends and I feel very happy to meet the people we idolize.

Reorientation :

    It was a really memorable experience for me: and my friend, because accidentally we were able to meet our idol and be able to take a photo with him as a memory.

    Hello everyone, before that I will introduce myself first, because I am a new student at SMAN 27 Jakarta.
